Thursday, April 27, 2017 - Here’s what’s happening:

Students and staff: LaBrae High School will operate on a 2 hour delay End of Course Exam testing schedule Monday May 1st and Tuesday May 2nd.  Only students participating in the Algebra 1 and Geometry End of Course Exam are required to attend at the normal start time.  Students will receive their room assignment in Algebra 1 and Geometry class this week.  Students not testing do not have to arrive until 9:35.  If you do arrive to school at the normal start time, you must remain in the cafeteria until testing is complete.  Transportation will be provided only at the normal start time.  Students arriving at 9:35 must provide their own transportation.  The EOC testing schedule can be found on the LaBrae website.

Students: The Prom T-shirts are in. If you ordered a shirt, stop by Señora Fee's room (918) to pick up your shirt.

Attention students: Prom tickets go on sale starting TODAY after school in Mrs. Kistler's room 927. Don't miss out on this memorable event! You have until next Friday, May 5th, to buy your ticket AFTER SCHOOL only! Prices are: $35 for outside guests, $20 for Juniors and $15 for Seniors.

Attention students and staff: This is the last call for a LaBrae Yearbook. The last day to buy a LaBrae Yearbook is TODAY. See Mrs. Aldridge for a form.

In sports news:

Turning to the weather:  Today will be around 81 with rain. Tomorrow will be  74 and partly sunny.

 

In the cafeteria today: Walking tacos, lettuce and cheese, fiesta beans, seasoned corn and baked apples.

Attention students and staff: This is the last call for a LaBrae Yearbook. The last day to buy a LaBrae Yearbook is this Thursday. See Mrs. Aldridge for a form.

In sports news:

Turning to the weather:  Today will be around 80 with lots of sunshine! Tomorrow will be around 81 with rain.

 

In the cafeteria today: Penne pasta in meat sauce, garlic toast, mixed green salad with tomatoes, fresh fruit.

 

And our thought for the day: Today will never happen again. Don’t waste it with a false start or no start at all.

Attention golfers! Any student wishing to try out for the golf team, please sign up in the attendance office by this Friday, April 28th.

Attention SADD Members: There will be a SADD meeting TODAY during lunch and after school in room 922. Please plan on attending ONE of the meetings.

Attention SADD Members: There will be a SADD meeting TOMORROW during lunch and after school in room 922. Please plan on attending ONE of the meetings.

Students: Any girl grades 9-11 interested in playing basketball next year, please sign up in the athletic office by THIS Friday.

Friday, April 21, 2017 - Here’s what’s happening:

Students and Staff: The high school will operate on a 2-hour delay End of Course Exam test schedule beginning next week, Monday and Tuesday, April 24th and 25th. Only students participating in US History and Bio I End of Course Exam are required to attend at the normal start time. Students will receive their room assignment in US History and Bio class this week. Students NOT testing will receive their room assignment in US History and Bio classes this week. Students not testing do not need to arrive until 9:35. If you do arrive to school at normal start time, you must remain in the cafeteria until testing is complete. Transportation will be provided only at the normal start time. Students arriving at 9:35 must provide their own transportation. The End of Course schedule can be found on the LaBrae website.

Attention NHS members: Autism Walk T-shirts are in , please pick up before the end of the day, if you haven't already. All donations for the raffle baskets for tomorrows walk are due TODAY by 4pm. If you were unable to bring something in, please donate $2-5 to Caleb so Frau can purchase items to fill the baskets. Members should arrive at the Harding Football Stadium between 4:30 and 5 pm ready to work this Saturday, April 22nd.

Attention students and staff: The Alzheimer’s Association and OSAIC would like to thank everyone in the LaBrae K-12 complex for their generous giving to the Alzheimer’s fundraiser. We raised $2,405.50 from grades 1-12!! Classroom winners were Mrs. Helmick, Mrs. Aldridge, Mrs. Royal, Mrs. Rowe, and Mrs. Schwab. The $100 classroom winner was Mrs. Rowe! We would also like to again thank Mrs. Helmick, Mr. Rowe, and Mr. Klotzbach for making our last week a fun one!

Attention NHS members: There will be a very important meeting TODAY, April 12 during lunch. All business sponsors and walker registration for the April 22nd Walk under the Stars for Autism are due!!! We will also be signing up for work times and basket raffle items that each of you will be responsible for. Don't forget you are to get 4 other walkers besides YOURSELF. See you TODAY!

Attention Prom Committee: All Prom committee members need to turn Prom shirt money and orders into Señora Fee today.
