EOC Exams for REG GOV will be Tuesday, May 2nd with NO 2-HR DELAY.

EOC Exams for ALG/GEO will be Wednesday, May 3rd & Thursday, May, 4th with a 2-HR DELAY.   

If you are not testing you are on a 2hr. delay schedule May 3rd & May 4th, which means you do not have to arrive at school until 9:35 and you will come in through the event entrance and remain in the cafeteria until release to 1st period.  Any student arriving to school at 7:40 and not testing will be supervised in the cafeteria for a student hall.

 

Attention Seniors....

Just a little reminder... The graduation program has been posted in the School Counselor's Office.  Please stop in and check that your name is spelled correctly and that the designated honors are correct.  This information will be posted until Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023.  If a correction needs to be made, please complete a pink slip for Miss Nogales!

Graduation picture envelopes are now available in the School Counselor's Office!

Prom is this Friday, May 5th at 6:00 pm. at DiVieste's Banquet Hall.  The theme for this year is Midnight Garden!

Here are some rules:  You must have good grades, less than 90 hours missed, your fees must be less than $50 & no out of school or in school suspensions.

Tickets are being sold through Tomorrow, May 2nd and you can pick them up during lunch or until 3:15 pm in Mr. Michl's Room 926.  Tickets are $30 for Juniors & Seniors and Sophomores & outsider tickets are $50.  You cannot buy tickets at the door or online.  

Early release forms and picture forms are also in Mr. Mich;'s room and can be picked up when you but your tickets.

 

I PROMise...

I recognize there are consequences for every decision I make.  I PROMise not the drink alcohol or use drugs, because I know they are both harmful and illegal for me to use.  I PROMise to call my parent/guardian for a ride if I feel unsafe.  I commit to living a safe and healthy way.  I PROMise to always wear a seatbelt, not to text while driving and to never ride with an impaired driver.

Students signing Prom PROMise will be entered into a Gift Card drawing!

 

CCP Reminder for 2023/2024....

KSU 2023-2024 Students:

You should have received a packet in the US mail from KSU with your acceptance. 

KSU will email you with orientation instructions.  ALL KSU student MUST have their orientation completed by the first day of KSU classes!

Student Council Blood Drive will be on Monday, May 15th.  You can sign up outside of Mrs. Fee's Room 918!

One donation can save three lives.  Every blood donor is a hero.  Be a hero give blood!

A few requirements:

You will sign in, show an ID and be asked to read some required information.

The results of your mini-physical will be on the blood donor app.

The actual donation only takes 5-10 minutes.

You can enjoy a snack & drink for 10-15 minutes before resuming your day.

Your blood is tested & sent to a patient in need.

 

Afternoon Detention is in Mr. McNemar's room 919.  Please bring academic work to detention.

LaBrae Vikings, Mahoning Valley Scrappers are holding a fundraiser for  Brenton Hemberger Tonight, April 21st at Eastwood Field in Niles during the baseball game between LaBrae and Jackson Milton.

The Trumbull County Engineer's Office has a full-time employment opportunity in the Highway Dept.  Job Duties: flagging traffic, patching potholes, cutting brush, cutting grass, painting lines on the road, plowing snow & general maintenance work.  They also have employment opportunities for students who are planning to attend college.  See Miss Nogales for more information and an application!

 

Braceville Township Road Dept. is looking for applicants for their Summer Work Program.  Essential Functions:  Preform general unskilled labor requiring little or no experience, assist in semi-skilled work, operate township equipment & follow all safety rules and regulations.  Requirements:  Valid State of Ohio Motor Vehicle Operator's License & general knowledge of hand tools and cleaning supplies.  Applications can be picked up at the Braceville Township Road Department between 7 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
