Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

There will be a drama club meeting in room 705 today. 

 

Staff, remember flu shots begin at 2pm this afternoon.  They will be in the lounge across from the high school athletic office.  Remember to bring the form you were given to complete as well as your insurance card.

 

 

The 1st German Club meeting will be held tomorrow during lunch in room 924. Bring your lunch. If you would like to be considered for an office, please do so in writing to Frau Cusimano on Wednesday, by the end of the school day.

 

Attention all students who signed up for OSAIC this year:  your first meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 17th, after school in room 924 until 3:15. 

 

Anyone interested in bowling this year please sign-up in the Athletic Office by Thursday, October 19th.

 

The book fair is coming!  Yes, this year’s Scholastic book fair opens tomorrow and runs through October 19th.  The book fair will be open during the school day and also during Parent/Teacher conferences.  Students will be scheduled to visit the fair through their English class.  So, mosey on down to the library and check-out our Wild West book fair.  Help support literacy and our school library!

 

Reminder to all students that tomorrow is an early release day.  Release will be at noon.

 

The Lady Vikings Varsity Soccer team battled with United in their last regular season game.  United was able to score one and the Lady Vikings tried to tie the score with a shot that rocketed off the goal post by Marissa Roberts keeping the score at 1-0.  Hannah Hill had 14 saves. The Lady Vikings will travel to JFK next Wednesday for their first playoff game.
