NHS Fall Blood Drive

Give Thanks Give Blood
Although we aren’t able to hold our blood drive at school, we’re still committed to helping hospital patients. This fall, LaBrae High School's National Honor Society is hosting a Red Cross virtual blood drive and you can help make it a success!  The goal of our virtual blood drive is for LaBrae High School donors to give blood at local community blood drives.  Each donation adds to our total which helps earn our students scholarships through the Red Cross.  The blood drive is open to all community members. To participate, follow these steps:

1. Click our virtual blood drive link by 11/30/2020 and schedule an appointment to give blood. To count toward our efforts, be sure to schedule your appointment through our unique link. LaBrae High School Virtual Blood Drive
2. Enter your zip code.
3. Schedule an appointment for the Red Cross blood drive of your choice. You can pick the day and time that’s most convenient for you.
4. On the day of your blood donation, complete your RapidPass, and arrive at your appointment time. Don’t forget to eat, drink plenty of water, sleep well, wear a mask, and bring your ID!
5. Enjoy the experience and help save lives with LaBrae High School!

Donors who are 16 years old can participate by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) to make an appointment and confirm with Mrs. Dhayer once you’re scheduled.

Let’s save lives together!
