There will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, March 25th, end of the nine weeks!

 

Attention Spanish Club:

There will be a party after school on Thursday, March 24th!

 

Don't forget Monday will be testing for ELA 2!

Anyone not testing are to arrive at school @ 9:35.  Classes start at 9:40.  The buses will run at your regular time if you need transportation on testing days.  You will report to the cafeteria until you are dismissed to 1st period.

 

End of Course Exams Schedules:

All students in the classes listed below will participate in the EOC exams: 

English 2:        March 28-29   7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

US History:    April 19-20     7:45am – 9:40am        (US History and CCP History 10th graders)

Biology 1:       April 19-20     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

Algebra 1:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

  • Students enrolled in Basic Algebra 1 will complete EOC in Algebra 1 next school year.

Geometry:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

 

***Additional students may be required to re-take an EOC

 

US Government EOC

Students will have the regular 7:40 start and 2:26 end time for the US Government EOC on May 2-3.  Students in regular US Government and AP US Government will complete the exam on an adjusted block schedule.

 

Students not participating in EOC Exams

Students not participating in EOC exams do not need to arrive to school until 9:35.  Students not arriving early will report to the cafeteria and remain there until all students are dismissed to 1st period.  The bussing schedule will remain normal.  Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if they cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  They will remain in the cafeteria until the end of testing.

AS ALWAYS DURING TEST TIMES PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED, HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, ARE ON TIME FOR SCHOOL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRESENT DURING THESE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.        

 

Are you registered to vote?

If you will be 18 years old on or before 11/8/22 you are eligible to vote in the May election.  If you would like to register see Mr. Armeni in Rm#906.

 

NHS Food Drive:  LaBrae High School's 1st Hunger Games...

The NHS Hunger Games Food Drive is going on.  Please bring in nonperishable food items from March 21st - April 1st and compete against other districts for a good cause!

District 1 - Seniors:  Donate to Mrs. Smith's Room 903

District 2 - Juniors:  Donate to Miss Jones' Room 907B

District 3 - Sophomores:  Donate to Mrs. Helmick's Room 905

District 4 - Freshman:  Donate to Mr. Wolford's Room 901

The winning District will win a sundae bar from the capital!!

Do you want to go to Prom? 

 

To be eligible to go to Prom:

All of your Final Forms must be completed.

You must be in good academic standing.

You can have no outside school suspensions.

All of your fees must be paid in full by April 22nd.

You must have no more than 90 missed hours without a legitimate excuse.

 

Students taking CCP classes next year at Kent State and/or Youngstown State University must return all of their completed CCP paperwork to Miss Jones in room 907B before Friday, March 25th. Please check your email for additional information.
