End of Course Exams Schedules:

All students in the classes listed below will participate in the EOC exams: 

US History:    April 19-20     7:45am – 9:40am        (US History and CCP History 10th graders)

Biology 1:       April 19-20     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

Algebra 1:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

  • Students enrolled in Basic Algebra 1 will complete EOC in Algebra 1 next school year.

Geometry:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

 

***Additional students may be required to re-take an EOC

 

US Government EOC

Students will have the regular 7:40 start and 2:26 end time for the US Government EOC on May 2-3.  Students in regular US Government and AP US Government will complete the exam on an adjusted block schedule.

 

Students not participating in EOC Exams

On all testing days we will be on a 2-Hour Delay Schedule with no bells.  Anyone not testing are to arrive at school @ 9:35.  Classes start at 9:40.  The buses will run at your regular time if you need transportation on testing days.  You will report to the cafeteria until you are dismissed to 1st period.  Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if they cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  They will remain in the cafeteria until the end of testing.

AS ALWAYS DURING TEST TIMES PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED, HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, ARE ON TIME FOR SCHOOL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRESENT DURING THESE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.        

 

Attention Viking Volunteers:

Help is needed Tomorrow, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th for the elementary sock hop dance.  

 

Tomorrow help is needed for set-up from 2:45 pm for approximately an hour or so.  

 

The dance is on Saturday, April 9th and help is needed to serve food and/or clean up from 5:30 pm to approximately 8:30 pm.

 

Please sign-up in the School Counselor's Office by the end of the day Today.

 

Spanish Club T-Shirt Sale:

Spanish Club are selling Cinco de Mayo Shirts for the first time!  Shirts are on sale until next Thursday,  April 14th.   Anyone who wants to show a little Mexican spirit on the Fifth of May,  order forms are outside of Room 918.

YSU's 24th Annual Edward W. Powers Women in STEM Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Career Workshop will be on April 30, 2022.

Cafeteria Poetry Contest:

April is National Poetry Month and LaBrae Cafeteria is having it's first ever poetry contest!  Our contest will end on Monday, April 25th.  Poem topics should be cafeteria or lunchroom related (i.e cafeteria lines, food items, lunch ladies, etc).  Poetry submission forms can be picked up and turned in during lunch.  There will be one winner for HS, MS and LIS.  The winner will receive a $15 gift card.  Winners will be announced Friday, April 29th.  We look forward to reading your poems!

 

Don't Forget!  You must meet all of the requirements below to attend this year's Prom:

Parent & Student must complete all of their Final Forms 

You must be in good academic standing.

You can have no outside school suspensions.

All of your fees must be paid in full by April 22nd.

You must have no more than 90 missed hours without a legitimate excuse.

 

Afternoon detention will be in Room#805B.   Please bring academic work to detention!
