End of Course Exams Schedules:

All students in these classes will participate in the EOC exams: 

Algebra 1:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

  • Students enrolled in Basic Algebra 1 will complete EOC in Algebra 1 next school year.

Geometry:       April 25-26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

 

***Additional students may be required to re-take an EOC

 

US Government EOC

Students will have the regular 7:40 start and 2:26 end time for the US Government EOC on May 2-3.  Students in regular US Government and AP US Government will complete the exam on an adjusted block schedule.

 

Students not participating in EOC Exams

On all testing days we will be on a 2-Hour Delay Schedule with no bells.  Anyone not testing are to arrive at school @ 9:35.  Classes start at 9:40.  The buses will run at your regular time if you need transportation on testing days.  You will report to the cafeteria until you are dismissed to 1st period.  Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if they cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  They will remain in the cafeteria until the end of testing.

AS ALWAYS DURING TEST TIMES PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED, HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, ARE ON TIME FOR SCHOOL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRESENT DURING THESE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.        

 

Student Council Members:

There will be a meeting tomorrow, April 22nd & Monday, April 25th during lunch in Mrs. Carpenter's Room 928.

 

Prom Committee:

There will be a meeting Tomorrow, April 22nd during lunch.

 

Cafeteria Poetry Contest:

All poems must be turned into cafeteria by Monday, April 25th!

 

Seniors....Stop in the Counselor's Office & complete the "Oh the Places You'll Go"!

 

Attention Seniors...

Final transcript forms are due ASAP!  All Seniors must complete the form even if you are not planning to attend college in the Fall.  If you need another form or have questions on how to complete it, please stop in the Counselor's Office!

 

The LaBrae Blood Drive:

Our blood drive will be next Wednesday, April 27th from 8:00 - 1:00.  Sign up @ RedCrossBlood.org & enter Sponsor Code LABRAE.  You can also  sign up & pick up your forms outside Mrs. Burns room 924.  Any student 16 years old needs to have a signed parental consent form returned BEFORE signing up.   Consent forms are due by April 25th to Mrs. Carpenter in room 928.  Any Questions...See Mrs. Carpenter or Sarah Ochsenbine.

Volleyball Sign-ups:

Any girl in grades 9-11 interested in playing volleyball next fall, you can sign-up until the end of the day Tomorrow, April 22nd  in the Attendance Office.  Open gym schedules can be picked up at the time of sign up.

LaBrae Junior & Senior Prom:

The Hollywood Masquerade is Friday, May 6th from 6-10pm. at DiVieste's Banquet Hall.

Prom Tickets go on sale starting Today through April 29th in Mr. Michl's Room 926.  Juniors & Seniors are $25.00 and Sophomores & Outside Guests are $45.00.  Outside guest forms must be picked up, filled out & returned with a copy of the guest's photo ID in order to purchase a ticket!

 

Don't Forget!  You must meet all of the requirements below to attend this year's Prom:

Parent & Student must complete all of their Final Forms 

You must be in good academic standing.

You can have no outside school suspensions.

Your fees must be paid down to $50.00 by Tomorrow, April 22nd.

You must have no more than 90 missed hours without a legitimate excuse.

 

YSU's 24th Annual Edward W. Powers Women in STEM Science, Technology, Engineering & Math Career Workshop will be on April 30, 2022.
