Attention Student Drivers:
SMASH is raffling off roadside assistance kits! To be eligible for the raffle, student drivers needed to sign the pledge. Pledging to follow the safe winter driving tips shared on the announcements. The 1st drawing will be this Friday, December 16th!
Cold Weather Tip #1:
Check the weather the night before to see if you need more time to get to school because of snow or ice.
Cold Weather Tip #2:
Make sure you have a jacket & ice scraper in your car. Remove all the snow from your windshield before you start driving.
Cold Weather Tip #3:
Make sure your have washer fluid & check your wipers to make sure they are ok.
Cold Weather Tip #4:
Make sure you start your car in open areas and not in an enclosed garage.
Cold Weather Tip #5:
Make sure you have at least half a tank of gas.
Cold Weather Tip #6:
Make sure your tires are properly inflated & have good tread.
Cold Weather Tip #7:
Do not use cruise control on slippery surfaces.

Wednesday, December 14th - Wear your Favorite Ugly Christmas Sweater.
Thursday, December 15th - Wear Red & White Like a Candy Cane.
Friday, December 16th - Grinch Day Wear Green.
