RoboVikes News:
Anyone interested in joining RoboVikes should plan to attend the first practice Today, October 5th after school in Room 929. Sign up for the team at bit.ly/signup4rv.
Sign up for the YSU English Festival and receive your information packet from Mrs. Royal or Mrs. Helmick.
Ursuline College Writing Contest:
Open to all high school students, writers can submit either a poem, short story, essay or memoir for Ursuline College's annual writing contest.
"We've gone to the future and back to the past, let's focus on NOW. Reimagine the present with Inscape."
Submissions are limited to 500 words
Three winners will be selected and published in Ursuline's annual literacy magazine, Inscape.
Cash prizes available:
$100 first place
$50 second place
$25 third place
Submissions are due before January 12, 2024.
VFW Voice of Democracy...
If you are interested in writing & recording an essay about "What are the greatest attributes of our democracy", stop in the School Counselor's Office for an entry form! The patriotic audio essay competition Grand Prize is $35,000.00.
Art Contest:
The VFW Auxiliary National Scholarship is offering a Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest! You could be awarded $15,000.00!!! Stop in the School Counselor's Office to pick up an entry form!
