End of Course Exams Schedules:  

The US Government EOC exams will be taken on May 3-4.  Students in regular US Government and AP US Government will complete the exam on an adjusted block schedule.  All Students not taking the exams will have the regular 7:40 start and 2:26 end time.  

 

If you are interested in becoming a class officer or student council member, see Mrs. Carpenter in room #928 for everything you will need! Do not interrupt her classes!

 

High School Volleyball Open Gym:

Girls in 8-11 Grade who plan to play next year there will be open gyms on Mondays & Wednesday (except on May 18th & 23rd) from 6 - 7:30pm.

 

Open gym for Soccer today from 3:00 - 4:30.  Please bring cleats & running shoes.

Ohio to Work Mahoning Valley is connecting job seekers to employers in the areas of manufacturing, healthcare and technology.  You are invited to attend on Wednesday, May 11th from 10:00 - 2:00pm. at the Eastwood Mall Complex Center Court 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd., Niles, OH 44446.

 

Warren Township Road Department is looking for part-time summer help workers.  Workers will need to be able to operate basic equipment, cut grass, brush and other vegetation, help complete drainage work, install traffic signs, perform traffic flagging, perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment, clean offices & garage, keep daily records and logs, etc... Pay rate is $11-$12 per hour and 24-32 hours per week.  If interested, please stop in the School Counselor's Office for information on how to apply!

The Trumbull County Highway Engineer’s Office is still seeking to employ graduating seniors who are planning to attend college or a trade school.  Those who are employed in our summer work program will earn $13.00 an hour.  Employment for these students is forty hours per week and sick time is earned.  A letter of acceptance from an institution of higher education and a driver’s license is necessary. Applications will be provided to interested students.

 

Afternoon detention will be in Room#919.   Please bring academic work to detention!

    Prom Tickets are on sale until the end of the day today in Mr. Michl's Room 926.  Juniors & Seniors are $25.00 and Sophomores & Outside Guests are $45.00.  Outside guest forms must be picked up, filled out & returned with a copy of the guest's photo ID in order to purchase a ticket!  All other forms can be picked up & turned into Mr. Michl in Rm. 926 by the end of the day today. 

    Please make sure you sign the Prom Promise!!

    After today you will not be on the ballot for Prom Court.

    You can request a song for Prom by scanning the QR Codes posted in the hallways!

          All students in these classes will participate in the EOC exams: 

          Algebra 1:       April 26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

          • Students enrolled in Basic Algebra 1 will complete EOC in Algebra 1 next school year.

          Geometry:       April 26     7:45am – 9:40am        (Academic and Advanced)

           

          ***Additional students may be required to re-take an EOC

          Students not participating in EOC Exams

          On all testing days we will be on a 2-Hour Delay Schedule with no bells.  Anyone not testing are to arrive at school @ 9:35.  Classes start at 9:40.  The buses will run at your regular time if you need transportation on testing days.  You will report to the cafeteria until you are dismissed to 1st period.  Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if they cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  They will remain in the cafeteria until the end of testing.

          AS ALWAYS DURING TEST TIMES PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED, HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, ARE ON TIME FOR SCHOOL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRESENT DURING THESE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.

          On all testing days we will be on a 2-Hour Delay Schedule with no bells.  Anyone not testing are to arrive at school @ 9:35.  Classes start at 9:40.  The buses will run at your regular time if you need transportation on testing days.  You will report to the cafeteria until you are dismissed to 1st period.  Students are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if they cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  They will remain in the cafeteria until the end of testing.

          AS ALWAYS DURING TEST TIMES PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED, HAVE EATEN BREAKFAST, ARE ON TIME FOR SCHOOL, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY PRESENT DURING THESE VERY IMPORTANT DATES.
