Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Friday, January 12, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

 

Attention LHS: Any student that would like to be involved in a video production Against Bullying, please sign-up before Friday directly outside Mrs. Frederick's room. 

 

All students taking a spring KSU CCP class can see Mr. Wolford between 10:30-11:00 to pick up your text books and spring forms.

 

DROP/ADD forms are available in the school counselors office.  ALL forms MUST be returned no later than January 19th

 

 

German Club will meet next Wed. Jan 17th during lunch in room 924. T-shirt design and pricing will be discussed. 

 

Report cards will go home next Friday, January 19,  to any student not owing school fees.  Please check in the main office if you don’t know whether or not you owe fees.

 

The theme for tonight’s game is USA! Support our team and our country by wearing red, white, and blue!

Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Thursday, January 11, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

 

 

Attention Ski Club:  Ski club will begins today.  Meet in Cafeteria after school.  Bus leaves at 3:00pm.  Arrange to be picked up around 9:30pm.

The girls bowling team won their second match in a row last night against Brookfield. The team had a solid effort with the baker games. In the individual games, Molly Jones lead the team with a 340 series and Kalia Benner with a 297 series.

Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

 

There will be an important National Honor Society meeting today during lunch in Frau's room 924. This meeting is for both old members and new inductees. Bring your lunch and planner. 

 

The Physics Olympics meeting has been moved to today during lunch in Miss Farones room. Please see Miss Farone with any questions.

 

Spanish club will be holding a meeting today during lunch in Mrs. Fee’s room to discuss upcoming events. All members are welcome to attend and should bring their lunch.

There will be a baseball meeting during lunch today across from the band room. Please see Mr. Hinzman with any questions.

There will be an OSAIC meeting today after school from 2:30 to 3:00 in Frau's room 924. We will be discussing completed and upcoming volunteer projects. If you have not already paid for and picked up your T-shirt, please take care of it at the meeting.

Attention all FRESHMAN. Señora Fee needs your help working the concession stand. Please see her ASAP to sign up. All students who help out will receive a pizza party (or other food of their choice). Stop by room 918 to see which dates are available!

Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Thursday, January 4, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

 

 

Attention ski club members:  Ski club is cancelled this week due to extreme temperatures.

 

The Girls Bowling team defeated Lakeview yesterday with a score of 1822 to 1518. Leading the lady Vikings was Molly Jones with a 311 series and Kalia Benner with a 295 series. A solid effort was also given by Elizabeth Neal, Julie Bright, and Monika Neal.

There will be a second informational meeting about the YSU Physics Olympics tomorrow during lunch in Miss Farone's room 923. Any student grades 9-12 is welcome to attend. You do not have to currently be in Physics or even know much about it. If you have an interest in solving problems and building things, then please attend this meeting. This is again for any student grades 9-12. If you attended the first meeting, you do not have to attend this meeting. If we want to send a team, we need the numbers so please consider joining!! See Miss Farone with any questions.

 

Tomorrow night’s theme for the game is USA!!!

Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

 

Tomorrow is Christmas pajama day.

 

Any student interested in attending the YSU Summer Honors Institute this summer, please see Miss Nogales for details. 

 

LSC is having its Christmas party today, during lunch, in Mr. Klotzbach’s room 926.  If you were planning on having pizza then please bring your $3 to Mr. Klotzbach or make sure to see Mr. Klotzbach today so that the right amount of pizza will be ordered.  Any student is welcome to attend.  We will be doing a Christmas story and eating Christmas cookies.

 

Attention Seniors:  If you forgot your senior picture, which was due last Friday, you still can give to Mrs. Aldridge before break. 

 

The theme for tonight’s basketball game is camo. Let's make sure those Girard Indians won't see us coming!

Monday, December 18, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

Student Council will be sponsoring a Christmas Spirit Week

  • Tuesday - Ugly Sweater
  • Wednesday - Pajamas

 

Attention student council members:  There will be a student council meeting today during lunch in the lounge across from the cafeteria.

 

Any student interested in attending the YSU Summer Honors Institute this summer, please see Miss Nogales for details. 

 

German Club meeting during lunch today.  Bring your lunch to room 924 and sing Christmas carols in German. 

 

​Reminder to current NHS members to stay after school today to set up for tomorrow mornings NHS Induction.  Meet in Frau's room at 2:30.

 

Gourmet popcorn has arrived!! NHS members need to pick up their orders after school and then distribute. Any extra bags of popcorn will be on sale beginning Wednesday, Dec 20th. Full size bags are $2.00 and single serve bags are $1.25. Stop in room 924 and buy a bag or 2. 

 

LSC is having its Christmas party tomorrow (Tuesday), during lunch, in Mr. Klotzbach's room 926.  If you were planning on having pizza then please bring your $3 to Mr. Klotzbach or make sure to see Mr. Klotzbach today so that the right amount of pizza will be ordered.

Any student is welcome to attend.  We will be doing a Christmas story and eating Christmas cookies.
