Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Thursday, October 26, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

OSAIC is proud to announce this years officers: Pres. Maccy Taylor, VP Kalia Benner, Treas. Sydney Pearce and Sec. Emily Kujala.  OSAIC Club shirts are now avsilable for order!!! They are $11 for s-xl  and $14 for 2x & 3x. Anyone interested in purchasing this year's club shirt needs to  stop by room 924 TODAY or at the latest Friday, Oct.27 before leaving to give Frau your size!! 

 

 

Shout out to all NHS, OSAIC, and Student Council students that volunteered last night at the Bascom Literacy Night!! What a great opportunity to be involved in the community and inspire young minds and support LaBrae parents. Thank you !!!

All cross country athletes can pick up their banquet tickets in the athletic office.  Tickets purchased for family members are $15/person.  The banquet will be held at Roby Lee's on November 9 at 6pm.  The last day to pick up or purchase tickets will be November 7th. 

 


Tickets are on sale in the Attendance Office until November 3rd for the Soccer Banquet.  The Banquet is November 9th, 6:30pm at Sorrento's.  Soccer players are free, but they must pick up a ticket. All other tickets are $15. Checks can be made out to LaBrae Soccer Boosters.

 

 

Attention anyone interested in joining SKI CLUB this year.  See Mrs. Kovac-Silvers in room 921 before or after school for details.

 

Any sophomore interested in attending YOUTH LEADERSHIP MAHONING VALLEY can see Miss Nogales for an application.  ALL APPS ARE DUE TO MISS NOGALES BY NOON TOMORROW!  ONLY 4 APPS CAN BE SUBMITTED & THEY ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.

There will be a drama club meeting today after school.  IF YOU WISH TO HAVE A PART IN THE CHRISTMAS PRODUCTION, YOU MUST ATTEND THIS MEETING.

 

All cross country athletes can pick up their banquet tickets in the athletic office.  Tickets purchased for family members are $15/person.  The banquet will be held at Roby Lee's on November 9 at 6pm.  The last day to pick up or purchase tickets will be November 7th.

3. Hats are permitted!! (Just don’t cover your face!)

 

Reb Ribbon week theme for tomorrow is………Give drugs the boot...........Wear boots or Western wear on Tuesday!

 

And in sports……………The cross country team competed at Districts Saturday and would like to congratulate Chloe Rose, Zoe Bechdel, Connor Meyer and Trenton McCombs for beating their personal records.  The Boys Cross Country team placed 3rd overall and will be moving on to Regionals this coming Saturday.  Jakob Rose placed 2nd overall, Zach Meyer placed 16th, Adam Nottingham 19th and Connor Meyer 22nd.

Homecoming pictures are now available to be picked up in Mr. Hampton's room, 907B.

 

Attention SADD members: You will be meeting today during lunch to discuss Red Ribbon activities for next week in room 922. Please, plan on attending.

 

Senior class officers will have a meeting with Miss Nogales today, at lunch in her office.

 

The theme for tonight’s football game against Girard is a PINK OUT! Show your support for breast cancer by wearing the most pink you can!

The cross country team competed at SimEarich/ AAC Championship this last Saturday and would like to congratulate Chloe Rose for placing 13th.  We would like to shout out to Zach Meyer, Cole Faler and Matt Biery for beating their personal records and to the boys Varsity team for coming in 1st place overall.

 

A VERY Special shout out to the NEW SCHOOL RECORD holder Jakob Rose.  The old school record was held in 1988 with a time of 16:34.  Jakob, who came in first place overall, beat his personal record, is the AAC runner of the year came in with a time of 16:31.

Thursday, October 12, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

 

 

The 1st German Club meeting will be held today during lunch in room 924. Bring your lunch. If you would like to be considered for an office, please do so in writing to Frau Cusimano on Wednesday, by the end of the school day.
