Good Morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

Thursday, September 28, 2017. Here’s what’s happening:

Reminder that cross country headband orders are due tomorrow.

High School students interested in being a part of OSAIC this year should sign up outside room 924 by tomorrow. If you enjoy volunteering in your community and helping others, then OSAIC is for you! Any questions see Frau Cusimano.

Attention Staff and Students:  Picture day is next Tuesday, October 3.  Extra picture forms are available in the main office.

Homecoming tickets are on sale at lunch through October 6th. Tickets can also be purchased before or after school in room 907B.  If you are planning on bringing an outside guest you must get a guest form for approval.

Last Call to all students 16 and older. Do not pass up the life changing opportunity to donate blood to the Red Cross! Due to the numerous national disasters the Red Cross is in urgent need of donors. Pick up your permission slips in room 924 TODAY. Make sure to drink extra water the next couple days and eat breakfast Friday morning before giving blood.  Let's work together to hit our goal and help out those in need. 

Any junior interested in taking the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 11, can see Miss Nogales with your $16 payment.  Deadline is this Friday.

The theme for Friday's game is a red out!

The Lady Vikings Varsity Soccer Team shut out Struthers 9-0 last night.  Aryana Hartman had 2 goals and each scoring one was Ashley White, Haley Hazinakis, Kaylie Klotzbach, Faith Hartman, Paige Wilson, Emily Hyland and Emma Jones.  Haley Hazinakis, Desi Allen and Aryana Hartman each had an assist.  Hannah Hill was in the goal the first half and had 1 save.  Faith Hartman finished the game in the goal and didn't need to make any saves.  The Lady Vikings play again on Monday at home.

There will be a very brief student council meeting in Mr. Hampton’s room at the end of 4^th period right before lunch.

There will be a meeting for any girl interested in playing softball during lunch today in the lounge across from the cafeteria.  Please attend for sign ups and agenda for Winter/ Spring Schedule.

The Lady Vikings Soccer Team shut out Girard 1-0 last night.  Desi Allen scored the goal on an assist by Aryana Hartman.  Hannah Hill had 2 saves and Faith Hartman had 6 saves, one a penalty kick.  The Lady Vikings play again at home on Wednesday against Struthers.

The cross country team competed at the Lordstown Invitational Saturday and would like to congratulate Jakob Rose who came in 1st place, Zach Meyer 4th, Adam Nottingham 7th, Connor Meyer 8th and Austin Stassinis 18th.  The Boys placed 1st overall as a team.  The girls placed 3rd overall as a team with Chloe Rose coming  in 6th place, Ariell Groubert 12th and Zoe Bechdel 16th.

Congratulations also to  Jakob Rose, Zach Meyer, Connor Meyer, Austin Stassinis, Cole Faler, Joe Cusimano, Trenton McCombs, Mark Munroe, Matt Biery, Chloe Rose, Zoe Bechdel, BriAnna Saner, Ariell Groubert, Alexis Collins and Mikaela Thompson for beating their personal records.

The Lady Vikings Varsity Soccer team battled tough against Springfield last night but fell short.  Faith Hartman was in the goal and had 9 saves.  The Lady Vikings travel to Newton Falls on Saturday.
