Good morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

Monday, September 24, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

NHS will host a blood drive on Friday, September 28^th.  Please sign up outside of Miss Silvernail’s room 922. Students who are 16 and 17 years old may give blood with parent permission.

JUNIORS- any Junior wishing to take the PSAT test, see Miss Nogales. You must sign up and pay $16 by Friday, September 28^th. The test will be on October 3, 2018.

Picture Day- October 2^nd…Extra forms are available in the main office.

Seniors:  There will be a college night at the Eastwood Mall on Thursday, October 4, 5-7 pm.

Viking Nation: the theme for tonight’s game in Americana.

The Whiteout Crew is underway! Check out the spirit rock after school today for our first design!

Congratulations to Cierra Burchett-Norquist! Her artwork was accepted into the emerging artist high school exhibition. He work will be on display until October 20^th in Columbus!

See the Counselors’ office for two opportunities from the VFW. One is an audio essay contest and the other is an art contest.

The LaBrae Lady Vikings Varsity Soccer Team defeated Newton Falls last night
5-2.  Marissa Roberts scored 2 goals and Alexis Huscroft, Kylie Thornton and Lindsey DeArmitt each scored 1.  Alexis also had an assist.  Faith Hartman was in the goal and had 9 saves.
The Lady Vikings travel to Newton Falls on Monday.  Game is at 5pm.

PREP BOWL: There will be a Prep Bowl meeting during lunch TODAY in Miss Farone’s room.

Sophomores: There will be a meeting during lunch TODAY in Mrs. Farone’s room to discuss the hallway decorations.

Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors- The Eastwood Mall is looking for 30 high school students to serve as ambassadors for the mall. If you would like to be a part of FAB (Fashion Advisory Board) there will be an interview session on Wednesday, September 26^th from 4:00-5:00 at the Eastwood Mall Community Room (by Dillard’s). This program will include training in modeling and public relations. You may receive FREE clothes from sponsors, product sample and giveaways!

Monday, September 10, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

1. A reminder to all students:

• Parking Passes: you must have a parking pass!  Passes must be viewable and starting this week, passes will be checked.
• Tattoos: all tattoos must be covered up. You can wear clothing that covers them or you may have to do something else so that NO TATTOOS are showing.
• Holes in jeans: NO HOLES are allowed in jeans (including frays) even if there is jean material under the holes.
• SENIORS: get your shot records in! They are due: Tuesday, September 18^th.  Athletics and extra curriculars (including Homecoming) will be suspended if they aren’ t  turned in.
