Good morning, LaBrae Vikings! These are your morning announcements for:

 

Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:

 

Any high school girl interested in playing volleyball this fall needs to sign up in Miss Frantz's room, room 611. There will be an informational meeting tonight from 6-7 pm in her room.

 

2018/2019 boys and girls Cross Country signups are in the Athletic office. Signups will run until next Wednesday May 9th. Returning athletes must still sign up.

 

Free Books!!!!   Yes, LaBrae was selected to receive a huge donation of books for grades 6-12 from Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank.  So if you are interested in obtaining free reading material, just visit the library, find the bookcases that are labeled “Book Give-away” and select those books that you might enjoy reading.  Those books then become yours.  Remember, books are offered on a first come, first served basis.

 

Early dismissal for prom will be at 11:14.    A signed early dismissal form must be returned to the Attendance Office by today. Early dismissal is a half day absence.  All other requests before 11:14 a.m. will be unexcused, unless doctor indicated.  All students, except those decorating, must be in school ½ day in order to attend the dance.

Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Here’s what’s happening:


 

Camp Counselors' will meet today and Tuesday, May 15, at lunch in Mr. Bailey’s room.

 

Attention all Spanish Club members! There will be a meeting today during lunch in Señora Fee's room. We will be discussing our final party of the year and a fundraiser. Hasta pronto.

Camp Counselors' will meet on Tuesday, May 1 and Tuesday, May 15, at lunch in Mr. Bailey’s room.

 

Prom tickets are on sale through today.  Ticket prices are as follows:  Seniors and Juniors $20 invited Sophomores and outside guest $40.  Tickets can be purchased in Ms. Farone's room 8th period and after school.

High School End of Course exams resume on Monday.  All students currently taking Algebra 1 and Geometry will be taking the exams Monday and Tuesday.  Students not participating do not need to arrive to school until 9:35.  These students should report to the cafeteria and remain there until all students are dismissed to 1st period.  The bussing schedule will remain normal.  You are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if you cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  Breakfast will not be available to students arriving at the delayed start. 

 

Don't forget that today is the last day for yearbook sales. See Mrs. Aldridge for an order form. 

 

The main dish for lunch today will be assorted pizzas.

Any student wishing to be a Grim Reaper victim for next week's prom event may sign up in room 917B.

High School End of Course exams resume Monday, April 23.  All students currently taking US History and Biology 1 will be taking the exams Monday and Tuesday.  Students not participating do not need to arrive to school until 9:35.  These students should report to the cafeteria and remain there until all students are dismissed to 1st period.  The bussing schedule will remain normal.  You are strongly encouraged to ride the bus if you cannot find transportation for the delayed start.  Breakfast will not be available to students arriving at the delayed start.
